Santiago de Compostela Lavacolla Airport (SCQ)
Airlines, Terminals and Facilities
(Santiago de Compostela, Spain)
Santiago Airport has a single, two-level terminal which services both domestic and international flights. Arrivals are handled in two different halls on level P0. All domestic and most EU flights arrive at Hall A, while Hall B deals with all non EU flights. Departures are handled on level P1, where there are 18 check-in desks.
Iberia Air commands six of these desks and RyanAir two desks. Other airlines which service Santiago de Compostela Airport include British Airways, which flies from Heathrow, and Spanair, which provides many of the internal Spanish flights.
The terminal offers the basic amenities any traveller will need. Level P0 houses a café and two restaurants which are open throughout the day. Shoppers can indulge in the seven shops within the terminal which stock everything from cosmetics, clothing and sporting goods, to delicatessen foods, toys and electronics. Current reading materials and music are also sold here. International travellers can take advantage of the duty-free shops in the Departures Lounge.
Two ATMs and a bank are conveniently located on level P0 of the terminal. A tour operator and two different travel agents have offices in the airport to assist with any specific travel plans.
Santiago Airport is fully accessible to disabled travellers, with lowered telephone booths and specially fitted toilets. Lifts and ramps provide easy movement between the two floors of the terminal. Passengers who need special assistance or a wheelchair should contact their airline when booking their flight.
An airport information desk is located on the P0 level of the terminal to provide help to travellers. Call +34 (0) 981 547 501 for assistance.
